STR tank adapter – PETG plastic S5 flange adapter for mounting the SIMARINE STR radar tank level sender on metal tanks. The adapter is designed for installations where the radar signal cannot pass through the tank material directly. It allows the STR1 or STR2 sender to be mounted securely on top of the tank using the S5 flange opening, enabling accurate liquid level monitoring on metal tanks that would otherwise be incompatible with radar technology.
Made from durable PETG plastic, this waveguide-style adapter creates a reliable path for the radar signal while providing a solid, leak-resistant mounting platform. The package includes the STR-A adapter, a sealing gasket, five mounting screws and installation manuals for straightforward setup. Simply clean the tank surface, position the seal, align and secure the adapter, then attach the STR1 or STR2 sender.
