A 1000W inverter on a 12V system can draw close to 100A at full output, so the cable and fuse between your battery and inverter matter as much as the inverter itself. This kit takes the guesswork out of it, with 35mm² DC cable and a 150A Mega fuse matched to the Enerdrive 1000W 12V inverter.

Undersized cable causes voltage drop, so the inverter sees a lower voltage than your battery is actually supplying. That can trigger low-voltage shutdowns when you run a laptop charger, small appliance or power tool, and it makes the cable run hot. The 35mm² cable in this kit keeps voltage drop low and gives your inverter the current it needs to deliver its full rated output.

The 150A Mega fuse and holder protect the cable run between battery and inverter. If a short circuit occurs, the fuse blows before the cable can overheat, protecting your vehicle, caravan or boat as well as your gear.

The 1.5 m length suits the typical install, where the inverter is mounted close to the battery. Keeping the run short is best practice for high-current DC and gets the most out of your inverter.
